EN 12326 - Thermal cycle test
With this test it is possible to make statements about the resistance
of a slate against weathering.

oxidation or alteration of the appearance
of metallic components with discolouration areas but without

oxidation or alteration of the surface of
metallic components which penetrate the slate and could
cause holes. |
Demands
in regard to the Thermal cycle |
Slates which show splitting, flaking off or other striking structural alterations are not permissible. T3 - slates which possibly become permeable to water, should be used only occasionally with special techniques of laying which prevent the penetration of water.
